Ottertail County Welcomes Yet Another Queen

A little 1-on-1 with Dad while Mom eats smores at the campfire.

Hanging out with Grandma at Zorbaz Pizza on Ottertail Lake.
Lara's 2.5 lb. walleye!! Which was really thrilling until Dad called on Friday to tell us about his 6 lb walleye, large northern and 3 lb. bass. We left too early.

Napping on the boat and fishing with Grandma in matching hats.

The lone bullhead caught on Squeaky Bridge. Dad caught it, but released it -- didn't feel like cleaning 1 fish at 11:00 at night.

Fishing Squeaky Bridge over the Ottertail River for bullheads with John, Dad, and the Buckinghams. Mom stayed at the cabin with Ben and we all wished we had done the same. It was cold and windy, but for the first time ever we didn't have to fight the mosquitos. It was also the first time ever that we left the bridge empty handed.

Trying to stay warm on Squeaky Bridge fishing for bullheads.

The rest of our catch -- some sunfish and 1 northern.

The first time Ben ever touched a fish.

John's walleye. The first walleye of the week. It wasn't as big as John's first walleye ever, but still a nice walleye.

Bundled up on the boat for morning fishing. Ben fell asleep so he slept on the floor of the boat while we kept fishing. He woke up when Lara was realing in a good sized Northern that broke the line just as she got it to close to the boat.

Strolling down the sidewalks of Battle Lake.

John & Ben outside Phelps Mill.

Ben hanging out outside the Phelps Mill Store while the rest of us finished our ice cream treats from Aunt Berna.
