Happy Birthday Ben!

Big Update

Looking at the blog I see that it's been 2 months since we posted anything and a lot has happened in 2 months. Most importantly Ben had his first birthday!! Other big milestones include: eating anything and everything, Ben now eats whatever we're eating, with very few exceptions. This is easy for him to do now that he has 8 teeth and 4 more coming in right now including 1 molar. No more bottles or formula, and the pacifier is slowly disappearing. Ben has learned how to tell us when he wants "more" using sign language. He says "hi" and can shake hands. He is extremely mobile and disappears pretty quickly is you're not watching closely. He has also learned how to get our attention quickly--temper tantrums (although generally short-lived). Ben loves to watch people, particularly those who are mowing a lawn, he is totally obsessed with lawn mowers. And he has a great sense of humor! He knows where to go to look for Alex (the cat) -- usually under Mom & Dad's bed and can't give Molly (the dog) enough hugs and pats on the back. We are amazed by him every day and I hope the pictures from the last 2 months give you an idea of what we get to enjoy every day!
